There are alot of variations from the use of the damaged and retouched part of the 2d Plate II
This is retouch Row 19 Number 9. The pre-touch copy is in the earliest state of wear, showing only a hint of weakness at the right and plating was helped by marginal marks. Retouching shows to the right of the head and an overall blotchiness can be seen on the early retouched copy. Wear continued on the right side.

With a class "A" cancellation of Christchurch Rated "1" very common.

The 4d Bright orange-yellow (mint) with original gum, SG.139 printed in 1873. This stamp is generally found with no watermark. The examples found with the "TH SAUNDERS" or "CC" paperrmakers waterrmarks are very rare.
