The SG52, CP A3a (Z) 3d brown lilac, roulette 7 on large star watermarked paper.
( This stamp having fake roulettes makes this a SG.40, A3a (1) or Scott.13 )
The trial separations, I have so diligently been collecting mostly or wholly turned out to be fakes in the eyes of "Bob"......They looked OK to me. Quite disappointing to think there are rogues out there doing this sort of thing.
This stamp was brought off a South African Site, the stamps were on a very old stamp album page and had very old hinges, there was a group of about 10 stamp including SG4, SG6 to name a few, when I won this auction and paid the seller actually rang me to ask how I had seen the auction.
He was an extremely nice gentleman and told me they were from his grandfathers collection when he was a Insurance salesman in the US. I still struggle that this stamp has been forged, but you have to respect the experts opinion.
